Manufacturing premises
PREMISES; Our Head Office is situated in Corby Northamptonshire. This central location
is ideal for us to complete installations throughout the UK. We also have a 2nd
manufacturing base in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire. Our factories are equipped with the
latest technology, which helps us maintain our reputation of providing top quality
products on time and in line with customer expectations.
INVESTMENT: We are constantly looking at ways in which we can improve our efficiency
and the services we offer our clients. In recent years we have made an annual investment
in plant machinery, CAD and IT. In 2009 this included a 2nd CNC machine, and in
2008 a 2nd Beam Saw, which doubled our capacity in these two key areas of the business.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: We are in regular contact with our suppliers to keep abreast
of the latest technology available. We will bring new innovations to the attention
of our clients, where appropriate.
ENVIRONMENT: At Astabridge we are aware of the very important environmental issues
that we need to consider. We meet or exceed all environmental requirements on re-cycling,
with facilities to recycle glass, aluminium, electrical components, lighting, and
cardboard. We are keen observers of energy conservation wherever it is possible.
All cutting of panels and glass is optimised to keep waste to a minimum.
